About Me

Hi! I’m Tabitha. I’m a twenty-something who loves to read more than anything else. If I didn’t have this burning need to eat every once in a while, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t even go to work. I am going to college part time to get a degree, though I’m not entirely sure which degree. I also love going to see movies, so maybe one day I’ll incorporate film reviews, but no time soon. It took me over a year to get comfortable with reviewing books, so movies are a long way off. The inspiration behind my blog title is a song. There is an older Breaking Benjamin song named Home that I was overly obsessed with for a while. The first line is “I’ve got a little red bow and I bought it for you,” but up until last year, I thought it said “I’ve got a little red bow and a bullet for you.” I actually liked mine line better and when I decided to start a blog it seemed a perfect place for inspiration. I also like the duality of the term with bows representing the nice, fangirling reviews, and bullets representing the overly rant-y ones. I’m not exactly sure what else to say, so I’ll just say that I’m open for questions and here is a random survey to give you a bit more about me. 2. What is your preferred writing implement? (eg. Blue pen, pencil, green pen) a colored pen. The actually color is unimportant, just as long as it isn’t the standard black or blue
3. Favourite month and why? October, I think. The weather starts to cool down and all the awesome Halloween decorations start appearing.
4. What musical artists have you seen perform live? That’s a long list! Sick Puppies, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, The Pretty Reckless, Skillet, Three Days Grace, and so many more. I’m a bit of a concert junkie.
5. What gaming consoles do you own? I have a Wii that I never play and a SNES that I do play!
6. What’s the worst job you’ve ever had? I worked at McDonald’s for 4 months and I hated every minute of it.
7. Favourite item of clothing? Can I just use my boot collection? I have a bit of an obsession with knee high/thigh high boots
8. Favorite book as a child. Bunnicula
9. Is there anything hanging on the walls of the room you are currently in? Bunchies of stuff! Autographed Evans Blue, Sick Puppies, and Saving Abel posters, Water For Elephants poster, X-Men First Class poster, How To Train Your Dragon poster, a few photos, and my marriage certificate.
10. What’s your favourite candy/chocolate? Peanut M&Ms and anything gummy (bears, worms, coke bottles, etc)
11. What fandoms would you consider yourself a part of? Harry Potter, Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Supernatural (the early years), Firefly/Serenity, Community…I think that’s it
12. If you could study anything, what would it be? Languages. Japanese specifically, but also Italian.
13. How would you describe your sense of humour? dark
14. What annoys you most? senseless character deaths and stupid people
15. Is there is anything that is guaranteed to always make you happy? Books and cuddling with my husband
16. Is there anything that always makes you sad? Dead turtles on the road. Other animals sadden me as well, but turtles especially. With almost any other animal they are quick and can dart out in front of you not leaving enough time to avoid them. But turtles? What the fuck is your excuse?

21. What’s your favorite desert? Milkshakes or pumpkin pie
22. Do you watch animated shows still? Yes! I watch both new cartoons and rewatch old favorites, like The Animaniacs and Batman Beyond
23. Would you eat a live spider for one million dollars? Depends on the size of the spider and if it’s poisonous. Considering the average person swallows about 8 spiders in their sleep in a lifetime, it’s not all that crazy and a million is a lot of money.
24. What’s something you hate? peas
25. Rap or pop? Those are my only options? Rock people, ROCK!
26. What was your favorite school subject? Japanese and chemistry
27. Favorite movie? 10 Things I Hate About You, Beauty & The Beast, Easy A, Thank You For Smoking, Frozen, Serenity, How To Train Your Dragon, and so many more.
28. Do you swear in front of your parents? Abso-fucking-lutely. I seriously do. I’m over 21, support myself, and it’s a free country.
29. Pirates or ninjas? Why? Pirates. Ninja’s would win in a fight, but I just think pirates are cooler.
