Uprooted by Naomi Novik from Eli Squared – I’m so excited about this! I’ve been hearing amazing things about this novel and the cover is so pretty!

Purchased
Any Duchess Will Do (Spindle Cove #4) by Tessa Dare – I just recently finished When A Scot Ties The Knot by Dare and absolutely loved it. Now I want to read all Dare’s work and this was in my local used bookstore. It was in near perfect condition, but then the cashier dropped it and ripped the spine at the top. 😦

Clear by Jessica Park from Jessica Park – I cannot believe I won this one. Normally, I HATE those Facebook/Twitter/Instagram giveaways where the winner is the first however many people to comment on the post. I’m rarely ever online at the right time. By the time I see them, the competition is well over. But magically, I was on Facebook at the exact moment Jessica posted this giveaway and I was one of the first 20 to comment. I’m so excited about it. I LOVED Flat-Out Celeste and I can’t wait to read more of her work.

PHYSICAL BOOKS
Books 9-5-15

Purchased
City Of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments #6) by Cassandra Clare – I made a whole spiel when I bought the paperback copy of this that I would just be satisfied with the paperbacks because I have them ALL in paperback. There is no need to try to find them all in hardcover and re-buy them, right? Well, this was $2, less than I paid for the paperback and I couldn’t say no. I’ve already added all the hardcovers to my Amazon wishlist.
Tenth Grade Bleeds (The Chronicles Of Vladimir Tod #3) by Heather Brewer – I finally completed the series! Tenth Grade Bleeds was actually the first of the series I bought, but after finding all the others in paperback, I gave my hardcover to my sister with the plan to buy a paperback. It just took a bit longer than expected to get my hands on it.

Avon Addicts
Playing Dirty (Bad Boys Undercover #1) by Helenkay Dimon – This sounds intriguing. I can’t wait to give it a shot.
Playing Dirty (Bad Boys Undercover #1) by Helenkay Dimon – And I might have an extra copy or two to give away!
Exit Strategy (EXIT Inc #1) by Lena Diaz – Just the basic description of this has me interested. Plus, I love reading things set in NC, makes me feel right at home!
Heroes Are My Weakness by Susan Elizabeth Phillips – A modern-day Jane Eyre? That has promise. I might have downloaded the audiobook for this and I’m really enjoying it.
Her Lucky Cowboy (Montana Men #3) by Jennifer Ryan – Awkward girl gets the guy? Gimme!
When A Scot Ties The Knot (Castles Ever After #3) by Tessa Dare – This sounds hilarious! A girl fakes a Scottish suitor, going so far as to write fake love letters, and then the imaginary man shows up on her doorstep? The Julia Quinn recommendation on the front doesn’t hurt. 😉
The Perils Of Pleasure (Pennyroyal Green #1) by Julie Anne Long – The heroine kidnaps the hero? That alone is enough to entice me. Besides, I love a good historical romance.
Like No Other Lover (Pennyroyal Green #2) by Julie Anne Long – Soon to be disgraced debutante husband hunting at a house party? Sounds interesting.
Since The Surrender (Pennyroyal Green #3) by Julie Anne Long – More historical goodness!
I Kissed An Earl (Pennyroyal Green #4) by Julie Anne Long – It looks like I will be able to binge on this series once I start it.
What I Did For A Duke (Pennyroyal Green #5) by Julie Anne Long – Revenge plots that are doomed to fail? Interesting…especially if it involves kissing!
How The Marquess Was Won (Pennyroyal Green #6) by Julie Anne Long – OOOO…another blurb by Julia Quinn. Enough said.
A Notorious Countess Confesses (Pennyroyal Green #7) by Julie Anne Long – The description hooked me at the word “courtesan.”
It Happened One Midnight (Pennyroyal Green #8) by Julie Anne Long – More historical goodness!
Between The Devil And Ian Eversea (Pennyroyal Green #9) by Julie Anne Long – And this ends the Julie Anne Long starter kit!

Working For The Man (This Is Your Pilot Speaking) by Tom Sears & Rob Sears – I’ve already listened to all these. This one ranked in the middle for me!
Slaving Away (This Is Your Pilot Speaking) by Miranda Kane – This is probably my favorite of the series!
The Uncycnical Cannibal (This Is Your Pilot Speaking) by Dewi Llywelyn – This one kinda bored me. 😦
The Hub (This Is Your Pilot Speaking) by Bruce Windwood – This one ranked on the lower end. I get the satire they were trying to make, I just didn’t find it all that amusing.

Right Wrong Guy (Brightwater #2) by Lia Riley – This is the first set of digital goodies from the Avon Addicts program I’ve been accepted into. I can’t tell you how excited I am for it. This sounds right up my alley. Contemporary fun with a side of angst.
Need Me (Broke & Beautiful #2) by Tessa Bailey – This is more contemporary fun. The synopsis reminds me a great deal of Losing It by Cora Carmack and I’m all for more of that kind of awesome.
Make Me (Broke & Beautiful #3) by Tessa Bailey – A contemporary romance with a hero named Russell? Bring. it. on.
Forever Your Earl (The Wicked Quills Of London #1) by Eva Leigh – I’ve made no secret of my love for historical romances. The ball gowns and the manners and the propriety? Gimme. This one specifically sounds like a scandalous romp in the gaming hells of London and I’m so excited for it!
Rescued By The Ranger by Dixie Lee Brown – Headstrong heroine refusing the man’s help? That sounds like it could get interesting quickly.
Even Vampires Get The Blues (Deadly Angels #6) by Sandra Hill – I’ll be honest, it’s been a long time since I’ve read anything in the adult paranormal category. I feel like I burned myself out on vampires long ago, but I’m willing to give it a shot!

I won a giveaway of this beautiful art for the After The End duology by Amy Plum and I’m so excited about it. It’s so pretty. The only way you could get them was by preordering or ordering one of the books in the series and since I have ARCs of both (and absolutely no money), that wasn’t an option for me. It made me sad at the time because both prints were very pretty. I’m glad I got the chance to get one of them because they are gorgeous!

Brown-Eyed Girl (Travis Family #4) by Lisa Kleypas – I’m pretty excited about this. I’ve read most of Kleypas’ historical romances, but I’ve yet to really try her contemporaries. I’ve always been scare that they won’t live up to the awesomeness that is her historicals. This is the perfect excuse to dive into them, since I’ve become quite smitten with contemporaries lately.

Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella from Fiktshun – I won this awesome pile of books from Fiktshun. All the books in this section are from that stack, but this is the one I’m most excited about. I’ve heard amazing things about this book and I love the back cover. It’s so cute with it’s little coffee cups!
Delicate Monsters by Stephanie Kuehn – I hadn’t heard of this, but it sounds interesting!
Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone – I really want to read this. It sounds sssssooo awesome. I’m fascinated by mental disorders, especially OCD.
The Wrath & The Dawn (The Wrath & The Dawn #1) by Renee Ahdieh – This was a book that I didn’t understand the hype behind, but after listening to Renee talk about it, I’m kinda interested to see where she goes with it!
Brutal Youth by Anthony Breznican – This sounds pretty interesting, but what really sold me was the blurb from Stephen Chbosky on the cover.
Sugar by Deirdre Riordan Hall – I know absolutely nothing about this one except that I like the way the cover feels. There is something about the material Skyscrape uses that feels nice!
Get Dirty (Don’t Get Mad #2) by Gretchen McNeil – I haven’t read the first book in this series yet, but I’m glad to have the opportunity to get to them!
