Lauren & I went shopping on New Years Eve, and even though we didn’t get much because a lot of the shops ended up being closed, we still had a lot of fun. Here are the few things I did acquire.
Books
A Court Of Mist And Fury (A Court Of Thorns And Roses #2) by Sarah J Maas – Even though the size of this book intimidates the fuck out of me and I’m not sure I like where the story is going, I couldn’t resist this autographed edition. I just couldn’t.
The Glittering Court (The Glittering Court #1) by Richelle Mead – I know this novel has gotten mixed reviews, but Lauren adores it and says I should read it. So there’s that and also, this is an autographed copy. I have a weakness for signatures…and books…and boots…
The Kissing Booth by Beth Reekles – Cutesy YA contemporary? I’ll give it a try! Also, I believe NetFlix is supposed to be adapting this into a movie or show or something, so I’m interested to read the source material.
FUNKOS
I may not be happy with where Once Upon A Time is at the moment (which is Hell, literally), but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m a sucker for Killian Jones. What can I say, how can you not love the pirate? So I added him to my collection as well as Minerva McGonagall from Harry Potter. Her hat is so big! I love her. She was the Harry Potter funko that called to me the most.

And this awesome Harry Potter mug. When it’s hot, footprints appear when it gets hot. It’s also HUGE. It’s a 20 oz mug.
Like I said, we didn’t get much because a lot of stores were closed for the holiday, but I love the small things I did get! What awesome things did you acquire before the new year?
