This short is about 4 old friends meeting for dinner to catch up on what they’ve missed in the last few years. One of the group has been away in New York while the rest have remained and England. There are quite a few strong personalities in the group and it is apparent that the recent return is not the group favorite. As a whole, this was funny, in that catty sort of girl way. It’s amusing enough, but I didn’t love it on a whole, but I might love it with a bit more development and length. I rarely love anything in such a short time-span. I honestly can’t say what I heard here would really entice me to continue listening. The point of these were comedy and, while I found them amuse, they didn’t actually make me laugh. That statement really says it all, doesn’t it?

A man and his wife die. The wife moves on to Heaven, but the guy gets stuck in a middle management job and has to work his way up to Heaven. In said, the Boss hands out ridiculous tasks and expected to accomplish them. Just like Catching Up, it was funny and I could see why it should be very amusing, but it never made me laugh. It garnered a few smiles, never an outright laugh.

This is about a dominatrix. That’s basically the gist of the whole thing. It’s her adventures in life as a dominatrix. It was easily my favorite of the whole set. It actually did make me laugh. I found Miranda and her observations to be quite amusing. It still only gets three stars because 29 minutes isn’t really enough to make me fall in love with something. But still, this is very amusing. If you only download one from this set, this would be the one I’d recommend.

This is about a guy who shipwrecks onto an island of cannibals. I did not really care for it at all. I don’t think it even made me crack a smile. It felt very much like it was trying for a Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy vibe. It succeeded to some degree, but since Hitchhiker’s on a whole isn’t my favorite thing, you’ll understand that I didn’t particularly enjoy it. It just felt a bit stupid to me. 😦

This is about a secret government intelligence headquarters and their subsequent missions. I also found it rather unamusing. There might have been a moment or two when I was intrigued by it, but I didn’t really care for it on a whole. I felt like it fell very flat and felt a bit stupid. I get that they were going for a parade feel, but it didn’t come across well, in my opinion!
