Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. PHYSICAL BOOKS
Purchased
Starling (Secrets Of the Eternal Rose #3) by Fiona Paul – Paula Stokes (AKA Fiona Paul) is doing an event at Malaprops next weekend and this was the only published book by her that I do not have. Also, this series is out of print, so it’s either get them now at a reasonable price or wait and they’ll get crazy expensive.
The Wrath & The Dawn (The Wrath & The Dawn #1) by Renee Ahdieh – Ahdieh was part of the Dangerous Ladies tour that was at Malaprops yesterday, so I had to grab a copy.
Daughter Of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan – This has such a pretty cover! Also, revenge stories are always fascinating.
For Review
Runaway by Beth Szymkowski – This sounds so interesting!
Trailer Park Fae (Gallow & Ragged #1) by Lilith Saintcrow – I’ve been in the mood for something fantasy-y lately.
The Eternal City by Paula Morris – This has a such a pretty cover!
Won
When Joss Met Matt by Ellie Cahill from Lost In Lit – I’m sssooo excited about this! I LOVED Liz Czukas (AKA Ellie Cahill)’s Top Ten Clues You’re Clueless and I so happy to have this new adulty, romance-y thing that she has written!

Amazon Freebies
Breakaway (Portland Storm #1) by Catherine Gayle – Freebie, cute cover, no more persuasion necessary.

SWAG
A decent bit of swag from the event and Malaprops, then The DUFF movie because it’s awesome. Also, two pokemon plushies because who doesn’t love Charmader?
This is probably the best haul you’ll see from me in the upcoming weeks. My husband just got layed off, so money will be too tight to splurge on books. But I have a great selection now, so I should be able to survive this unwanted book buying ban! What did you get this week? Let me know in the comments!
I have been really interested in Eternal City and the wrath and the dawn. Great week for you chica!
I hope you have a great week! Happy reading 🙂
Here’s my weekly wrap up

I’m even more excited about The Wrath & The Dawn after hearing Renee talk about it. I’ve been hearing great things about it and the cover is so pretty!
