Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. The Promise Of Amazing by Robin Constantine (my review) – So excited to finally have a physical copy of this. Robin came to Charlotte this past weekend. You can read my recap and enter to win an autographed bookmark here.
The Wicked And The Just by J Anderson Coats
Perry’s Killer Playlist (Perry & Gobi #2) by Joe Schreiber – I’m so fucking excited about this. I really loved the first one (my review of book one) in this series for it’s hilarity and can’t wait to get to this.
Be More Chill by Ned Vizzini – This find is a bitter-sweet because of Vizzini’s recent death, but I loved It’s Kind Of A Funny Story and really want to read everything else he wrote.
Jonas (Beautiful Dead #1) by Eden Maguire
Repossessed by A M Jenkins
The Lonely Hearts Club (The Lonely Hearts Club #1) by Elizabeth Eulberg
Absolutely Boyfriend: Volume 4 by Yuu Watase -This is probably my favorite manga series ever, so I’m excited to get to this.
The Baby Owner’s Manual: Operating Instructions, Trouble-Shooting Tips & Advice On First-Year Maintenance by Louis Borgenicht & Joe Borgenicht, illustrated by Paul Kepple – So there is no baby in my near future, well not for me anyway, but I couldn’t pass this up when I saw it at Goodwill. It looks both comical and helpful, which will be an interesting combination.
Dead Is So Last Year (Dead Is #3) by Marlene Perez
Dead Is The New Black (Dead Is #1) by Marlene Perez
The Ugly Duchess (Fairy Tales #4) by Eloisa James
Fire And Flood (Fire And Flood #1) by Victoria Scott – So excited about this!
I got a pretty big stack this week, huh? Did you get anything awesome this week? Let me know in the comments!
