The Last Summer (Of You & Me) by Ann Brashares

TITLE: The Last Summer (Of You & Me)
AUTHOR: Ann Brashares
PUBLISHER: Riverhead Books
PAGES: 306 pages
FORMAT: Paperback
SOURCE: Purchased
RATING: 3 stars

This book gets three stars. I truly enjoyed most of it, and was genuinely pleased with the ending, but it has a few flaws. I didn’t like how you never get a out and out discussion of what really happened between Alice and Paul. We all know what happened, but I think it is important that the characters discuss it as well as Riley’s death.

And for I was very happy that the lovers did end up together because after reading The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, I didn’t have high hopes for it. I think it’s a good book, considering it’s her first adult novel.
