Psych Major Syndrome by Alicia Thompson

TITLE: Psych Major Syndrome
AUTHOR: Alicia Thompson
PUBLICATION DATE: August 11, 2009
PUBLISHER: Disney-Hyperion
PAGES: 336 pages
FORMAT: Hardback
SOURCE: Library
RATING: 4 stars

I truely enjoyed this book. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s similar to Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty and I just adore that book and have a real soft spot for it.

I love the main character’s name! Her name is Tuesday Leigh, and she goes by Leigh. But I love Tuesday. It’s so different. This book is pretty funny, I have several laugh out loud moments. Leigh is easy for me to relate to and she is so naive sometimes.

The book is about Leigh dealing with college and trying to keep her relationship with Andrew, her high school boyfriend going. She loves him. My only complaint was there wasn’t enough romance. Don’t get me wrong, I know this isn’t a romance novel, but Meg Cabot has a quote on the back about how romantic it is, but there is only a tiny bit towards the end.
